Terms & Conditions

1. A Legal Disclaimer

These Terms and Conditions apply to all gutter cleaning, repair, and maintenance services provided by Gutter Experts UK (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the customer (“you”, “your”).

By booking our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Quotations & Pricing

  • All prices given online or at the time of booking are initial estimates based on the information provided.
     

  • Final prices may change depending on the condition, height, access, or size of your property.
     

  • If you upload photos during booking, this helps us provide a more accurate quote — however, prices may still be adjusted on arrival if additional work or access equipment is required.
     

  • Any price adjustments will be discussed and agreed before we begin the work.
     

  • Quotes remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

3. Access & Safety

  • You must ensure that we have safe and unobstructed access to the areas where the work is to be carried out.
     

  • If we arrive and cannot complete the work due to restricted or unsafe access, a call-out fee may apply.
     

  • We reserve the right to refuse or postpone work in unsafe weather conditions or where health and safety regulations cannot be met.

4. Weather & Rescheduling

  • Gutter cleaning is weather-dependent. In the event of heavy rain, strong winds, or icy conditions, we may need to reschedule your appointment for safety reasons.
     

  • We will contact you as soon as possible to agree on a new suitable date.

5. Payments

  • Payment is due on completion of the job, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
     

  • We accept cash, card, or online payment.
     

  • Non-payment within 7 days of completion may result in additional late payment fees.

6. Cancellations

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.
     

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a call-out fee to cover travel and time costs.

7. Our Workmanship

  • We aim to ensure all gutters are left clean, clear, and free-flowing.
     

  • We do not accept liability for existing damage or poor condition of gutters, fascias, soffits, or roofs discovered during the cleaning process.
     

  • If we identify any issues (such as leaks, cracks, or damage), we will inform you before proceeding with any repairs.

8. Liability

  • While every care is taken, we are not responsible for any damage caused by pre-existing faults, fragile materials, or poor installation of guttering or roofing systems.
     

  • We are fully insured for public liability in the event of accidental damage caused by our team.

9. Satisfaction Guarantee

  • If you have any concerns about our work, please contact us within 48 hours of completion.
     

  • We will review the issue and, if necessary, return to inspect and resolve it as quickly as possible.

10. Service Area

  • We proudly serve East Sussex and the surrounding areas, including Hailsham, Eastbourne, Lewes, Brighton, Uckfield, Hastings, Bexhill, and nearby towns.

  • We take your privacy seriously and comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
     

  • Any personal details provided to us (such as your name, address, phone number, or email) are used solely for the purpose of arranging and completing your service.
     

  • If you upload photos of your property when booking, these images are used only to assess your guttering needs and provide an accurate quote.
     

  • We do not share, sell, or disclose your information to any third parties, except where required by law.
     

  • Your details are stored securely and only kept for as long as necessary to provide our services or meet legal obligations.
     

  • You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us directly.
